These terms govern use of architectexams.com and the study materials sold here. The site is operated by APECx LLC (“we,” “us”). Order questions: contact@apecx.com.

What you are buying

A pass is a personal, non-transferable license to use the paid practice exams, flashcards, and related study tools for 365 days from the purchase date. You are not buying the questions, the software, or a copy you can resell. Access ends at the end of that year. Unused time is not paused.

The ARE 5.0 pass covers all six divisions. The LEED Green Associate pass is separate. Free quizzes, checklists, and the formula reference stay available without a pass. A pass unlocks the full exams, the rest of each flashcard deck, and saved scores on the account that paid.

Not an official exam

APECx LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NCARB, USGBC, GBCI, or AIA. ARE and Architect Registration Examination belong to NCARB. LEED and Green Associate belong to their owners. Our items are independent practice material. They are not past exam questions and they do not reproduce official forms. Confirm current objectives, item counts, and codes in the official ARE 5.0 Guidelines and the GBCI candidate handbook.

Practice scores do not predict an official result. We do not guarantee that you will pass, become licensed, or earn a credential.

Accounts

Register with a real email and keep the login to yourself. One person per account. You may not share, sell, or publish the login. We may close an account that shows shared use, without a refund. You are responsible for activity under your login.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, scrape, download in bulk, screenshot for distribution, or post our questions, answers, or explanations. Do not use the content to train a model or build a competing bank. Do not attempt to bypass the paywall or interfere with the site.

Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars before checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. APECx LLC does not store your full card number. Taxes may be added where required. The license starts when payment succeeds.

Refunds

Refunds follow the Refund Policy. Except as stated there, or where a law requires otherwise, fees are not refundable and unused days are not credited.

Changes and availability

We may correct items, add or remove questions, and change the site. We aim to keep paid access available during the license term, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. If we discontinue the product entirely during your paid year, we will offer a pro-rata refund for the unused months.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

The site and content are provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for failed exams, lost registration fees, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for a claim relating to a pass is limited to the amount you paid us for that pass in the prior 12 months. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state are the venue, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court. You may also have consumer rights in your place of residence that these terms cannot waive.
